Highlights: Alice joined on 27 May 1942 and was sent to No2 Casualty Clearing Station, then at Ingleburn. She was transferred to 102 Casualty Clearing Station on 19 Aug 1942 (this may have been a change of unit name), then to 113 Military Hospital (Concord) on 25 Oct 1942.

Alice was posted to 2/5 Australian General Hospital (Australian mainland element) before being posted to 102 Australian General Hospital (Holland Park) before returning to 113 Military Hospital (Concord).

On 18 Apr 1945, Alice sailed for Morotai on the Hospital Ship "Manunda" as part of 2/5 Australian General Hospital.

Alice returned to Townsville by plane from Lae, New Guinea on 28 Aug 1945 and was posted to 101 Australian General Hospital until her discharge on 1 Oct 1946.

Alice married Peter Francis Hart in Goulburn in 1947. Alice and Peter had served together at No2 / 102 Casualty Clearing Station where Peter was a Pharmacist.

They settled in Crookwell, where Peter bought an existing pharmacy, now known as Harts Pharmacy.
