Highlights: Annie completed her nurse training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 1917 and was 34 years old when she joined Australian Army Nursing Service.
She left Australia on 9 Jun 1917 and arrived Cairo 19 Jul 1917. Annie was then sent to Salonika, Greece and served with 50th and 52nd General Hospital (both were British Army Hospitals) until 5 Feb 1919 before being transferred to England.
After 3 months leave, served with 1 Australian General Hospital until 20 Oct 1919 when she sailed for Australia as nursing staff on SS Wahehe, arriving home on 15 Dec 1919.
She was discharged from the Army on 16 May 1920. Annie did not marry, died in Crookwell in 1962.
