Highlights: Faith enlisted on 29 Mar 1943, aged 18 years old. After completing initial training at Ingleburn, she was posted to 114 Australian General Hospital, Goulburn on 15 Jun 1943, for duty at 114 Australian Laundry Unit.

On 10 May 1944, while still serving at Goulburn, Faith was promoted to Lance Corporal and on 26 Mar 1945 she married N201462 John Alexander Ryall, in Goulburn. John was also posted to 114 Australian General Hospital.

Faith was discharged on 21 Jun 1945. Her husband continued to serve at 114 Australian General Hospital until his discharge on 18 Feb 1946.

In 1997, Faith was living on a property at Barmedman, when she was finally issued with her medals. John was living at Barmedman on enlistment. He had enlisted on 6 Feb 1942, with 4 Cavalry Brigade, but due to his flat feet he was transferred to Medical Corps to train as a Hygiene Operator. He joined 114 Australian General Hospital at Bowral, before the unit took over the Kenmore Hospital, Goulburn. The hospital cared for medical and surgical cases as well as having a psychiatric wing.
