After completing basic training in Melbourne, Marjorie undertook a drivers course at Bonegilla Vic, before being posted to 2 Australian Ambulance Car Company on 30 Jun 1945. Marjorie was then posted to 54 Camp Hospital (Kapooka) on 2 Oct 1945. She was then posted to 16 Camp Hospital (Ingleburn) until 10 Jan 1947 when she was posted to 146 General Transport Company.

Marjorie was discharged on 13 Jun 1947 and she married Frederick Charles Logan at Randwick in 1950.
